André is the Founder and CEO of LEAP Therapeutic Services, which he established in 2018 and serves as the lead clinician since its inception. With a unique an innovative approach, Andre focuses on nurturing healthy coping skills and employs a person-centered methodology to enhancing the overall quality of life. He is committed to the well-being of individuals and families and he is motivated by his core belief that his life’s calling is to be the catalyst to bridge the gap and to serve, empower, educate, and lead by example. As a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), his experience has allowed him to provide service in various settings to include churches, jails, Universities and the community at large.

André is a proud veteran of the United States Army to which he attributes his resolve and passion for service and leadership in the mental health field for over 20 years. In 2009, he earned his Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University and in 2011, he earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) through VCU’s intensive one-year accelerated post-graduate program, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to make a profound impact in the lives of those he serves. André’s contributions go beyond clinical roles. He provides consultation, executive and leadership coaching for organizations and churches, and mentoring. He is also a Public Speaker, a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and a Clinical Supervisor to therapists on their path to licensure in Clinical Social Work. His extensive experience spans diverse work settings, including residential hospitals, private outpatient practices, and his most recent role as the Director of Clinical Services at a psychiatric hospital.

André’s personal life mirrors his dedication to family and community. Hailing from Barbados, he has been married for over 30 years and is an active Minister and member of his church Health & Wholeness Ministry. He finds joy in watching and playing sports, cherishes time with his wife, adult children, grandchildren and family, and enjoys traveling the world,
